Q: What should I expect from Pure Spa?

A: My services are by appointment only because my goal is to offer each guest a very personal and relaxing experience. Each service has built in time for pre and post relaxation, which means there is time to fill out the intake forms while chatting about the goals for your visit, basic health and diet, and relaxation needs or just to vent about life. We are living in a time where we are overwhelmed, scared and rushed, and it takes a toll on our health mentally and emotionally. So I want to offer a space where people can feel a sense of escape from all the stress we are dealing with daily.

I pride myself on offering a COVID safe environment in every way. I have been trained in disinfecting, sanitizing and sterilization practices. I practice all the safety standards recommended by the CDC. I schedule at least an hour between clients to clean and sterilize the studio. And because I have a high heath risk home we personally live a strong quarantined lifestyle. Safety is my number one priority.

I began my journey in the wellness industry in 1991 when I studied skin care at The Institute of Aesthetics Arts and Sciences in Southbury CT. After working diligently in the spa industry I went on to study Sociology at Teikyo Post University in Waterbury, CT and spent 17 years working in the social service and mental health industry. All that time I felt that the two industries must be able to bridge together to offer the best possible wellness services one can find. I believe that true self-care encompasses mental, physical and spiritual health combined and that is what my goal is to offer. I want my guests feeling like they have let go of the days stressors and walk away in wellness.
